TWO-SEVEN TOOTER ARCHIVE |

The above Guidon is the original 1965 flag.
Veterans who campaigned under the battle colors of
the Echo Company 2/7 Guidon are justifiably proud
of our Company's accomplishments in the Vietnam
War.
The E 2/7 tattered flag is a symbol that we endure
and WILL continue. |

Why called the
"Two-Seven Tooter"?
Answer: In honor of the periodical
we would get while in-country with E 2/7.
The original "Two-Seven Tooter" was typed out using a
typewriter and carbon paper, remember those? Several copies were
produced and then handed out to the Marines of E 2/7. You were supposed
to read it and pass it on, however, one found it's way back to the
world.
