| The State of California requires by law that all gasoline service
stations in the state have available at the location a Gasoline Gallonage Throughput
Report. This report must be shown to a Department of Weights and Measures field inspector
upon request. |

| How It's Valued |
| You have on display at your station a permit issued by either the Bay
Area Air Quality Management District, or, the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
These permits are issued under the name of your "Underground Gasoline Tank Storage
Permit". Each permit allows only a certain number of gallons to be sold at that
particular station per year. Permitted allowable gallons do differ from station to
station. |

| What They Audit |
| What the field inspector is looking for is to see if you have surpassed
(don't you wish) the allowable gallons to be sold pursuant to your operating permit. For
example, if your permit allows 3,850,000 available gallons to be sold per year, your
gasoline gallon sales may not exceed that amount. |

| What You Must Show |
| You must have available for the inspector the last 12
months gasoline sales. These should be listed in gallons by grade and
totaled each month. For example: If this is June 2008, then you would need
to show June of 2007 through May 2008. Below shows what
a sample Throughput Report looks like. |
